SUCCESSFUL telecoms company BNS Telecom has signed a three year deal to become the main sponsor of Tynedale Rugby Football Club.

BNS Group PLC will sponsor the team from the start of the 2009/2010 season and will see its name emblazoned on the shirts of the club’s first team and other senior teams.

BNS Telecom chief executive, Garry Moat said: “BNS is a firm that was born in Tynedale. Our HQ is in Prudhoe and many of our employees live in the area.
 
“As a business, it is important for us to actively engage with the local community. Tynedale Rugby Club runs a number of senior, youth and junior teams and therefore is involved in grass roots development of the sport.

BNS Telecom Group has leveraged its IP technology network alongside Vodafone's GSM network to launch a new mobile office solution that utilises one number for all devices.

Voice calls, faxes and emails can be simultaneously routed to various devices used by the customer whether this is a deskphone, mobile, pda or notebook with BNS Telecom softphone installed.
